Do
I have to be a contractor to apply for a credit account?
Anyone can open an account, providing
your credit is in good standing and it is used on
a regular basis. After 6 months of
no usage, the account is automatically closed.

2. How do I apply for
an account?
We have a credit application that
needs to be filled out. We need a personal guarantee
signature on the application. If the
application is completed with the information that is
required, it should take 1-2 days to
hear back from us if the account is open.

Do you have certain sales associates to handle certain products?
Even though our sales associates are
knowledgeable of all our products, we do have certain
associates that handle particular
products with more expertise in that area.

What is your return policy?
All returns must be accompanied with
your original receipt within 30 days of purchase. It
must be in the original packaging it
came in, unused, undamaged and must be re-sellable. Some
specialty product vendors will charge
a restocking fee to return it to them.
If your order needs to be
picked up, there will be a restocking fee.
There are no returns on
special orders.

We deliver within a 60 mile radius if
the order is large enough, but we do not go out of state.
Also, depending on the size of the
order, we reserve the right to an appropriate delivery
charge. Please inquire when placing
your order.

8. Do you have
the new ACQ treated wood?

What is the difference between CCA & ACQ?
There are currently two types of
chemical preservatives used in pressure treated wood. CCA
(Chromated Copper Arsenate) was
the most common, but it has been phased out for most
applications. ACQ (Alkaline
Copper Quat) pressure treated wood is the other type of
treatment. This treatment method
uses different chemicals which many people believe to be
safer than CCA treated wood.
The two other major manufacturers of
wood treatments have also introduced their alternatives
to CCA treatments.
Osmose has introduced Naturewood ™ or
NW100. More info can be found at:

Arch Wood Protection, Inc also has a
CCA alternative formulation being offered under the
brand name Wolmanized Natural

Hours of operation?
The lumber
yard is open Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. The Kitchen Department
is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Saturdays 8:00 am – 12:00 pm,
with after hours by appointment only.

We can not
recommend one contractor over another so we have a list that we can give
to you for your use.

Do you cut wood to size?
No, we can cut some pieces of
lumber to length for convenience, but we are not responsible
for exact cuts. We are not
able to rip to certain widths nor can we cut plywood to exact
dimension.

view the site in a different size?
Yes, you can view
it in ether 1024X768 or 800X600.
